Senior Marketing Manager & Team Lead

About the Role

We’re seeking a “Senior Marketing Manager & Team Lead” to take full ownership of our marketing function — from strategic planning to technical execution. This role is ideal for someone who combines creativity with systems thinking, understands how to move fast without breaking brand trust, and thrives on delivering measurable business outcomes. As our Senior Marketing Manager & Team Lead, you’ll lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of all marketing initiatives — for both Ptera and selected client projects. You’ll develop integrated campaigns, lead a small team, and be hands-on with content, tools, automation, analytics, and growth experiments. This role blends leadership and delivery: you’ll own the big picture and still be ready to build the landing page, draft the LinkedIn post, or set up a new tool integration.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership
  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy — aligning with company objectives and industry trends
  • Define marketing standards across messaging, design, content formats, and tone
  • Lead and mentor the internal marketing team, freelancers, or agency partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and client delivery teams to ensure aligned go-to-market execution
  • Recommend and implement scalable processes, technologies, and workflows
Campaign Development & Execution
  • Plan and execute full-funnel, multi-channel campaigns across social, content, email, SEO, events, paid media, and more
  • Define and track campaign goals, budgets, timelines, and KPIs — adjusting in real time based on performance data
  • Tailor campaigns for different verticals (e.g., fintech, financial services, advisory firms), buyer personas, and lifecycle stages
  • Ensure campaigns are properly tracked (UTMs, pixels, tags) and integrated with CRM and analytics tools
Marketing Operations & Tooling
  • Evaluate and implement marketing tools (CRM, CMS, automation, analytics, etc.) based on business needs
  • Own the marketing tech stack and ensure tools are integrated and maintained (e.g. GA4, ChatGPT, LinkedIn Ads, Google Tag Manger etc.)
  • Introduce AI tools and automation to accelerate content creation, personalization, segmentation, reporting, and internal workflows
  • Maintain quality and consistency across platforms and touchpoints
Content & Brand Marketing
  • Direct and contribute to the creation of content for social, blog, website, email, sales decks, and video
  • Ensure brand consistency and message clarity across all channels and formats
  • Lead thought leadership efforts, including co-creating content with internal experts and partners
  • Optimize content for SEO, engagement, and conversion
Analytics & Optimization
  • Set up dashboards and reporting for campaign and overall marketing performance
  • Analyze audience behavior and campaign outcomes to inform decision-making
  • Propose and execute A/B tests, funnel improvements, and creative experiments
  • Report progress and strategic insights to leadership regularly

Required Skillset & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, including senior or team leadership experience
  • Proven ability to create and lead multi-channel campaigns, from strategy to execution
  • Hands-on experience with core marketing tools and platforms (e.g. GA4, GTM, LinkedIn Ads, CMSs, AI content tools)
  • Strong analytical and technical marketing skills (tagging, attribution, automation, integrations)
  • Excellent English copywriting and content direction abilities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and prioritization skills
  • Experience in tech, B2B, SaaS, or a digital/innovation environment

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with IT Managed Services, fintech, consulting & advisory firms
  • Experience working with colleagues and clients in multiple international locations
  • Experience managing external vendors and contractors
  • Ability to design light assets or work with tools like Canva, Figma, or Loom
  • Knowledge of AI-driven marketing trends and tools (e.g., content generation, predictive segmentation, chatbots)
